Posted: Updated:

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - A 24-year old East Lansing man is behind bars this afternoon facing multiple charges for leading police on a unique chase.

It started on East Saginaw Street near Marshall in Lansing, around 3 a-m.

Officers tried to pull him over for speeding, but say he didn't stop. The driver turned onto Hayford, which dead ends.

When the 24-year old turned the vehicle around, he just missed a patrol car and then got stuck in a snow bank.

The chase didn't stop there. Police say the man got out and ran into a nearby home.

Officers found him a short time later and took him to jail.
