There have been no reports of illness to date. Pets with Salmonella can be lethargic and have diarrhea with blood, fever and may vomit. Some will have a decreased appetite, fever and abdominal pain. Infected pets that are otherwise healthy can be carriers and infect other animals or people.

If you believe your pet has been infected, call your veterinarian right away. There is no risk of infection to humans by handling the food.
