UPDATE: Lansing Police Find Missing Man

UPDATE: After searching for more than 12 hours, Lansing police found Nkurunziza Pascal, 58, safe and in good health Saturday afternoon.

The Lansing man went missing Friday around 5 p.m. from the 800 block of W. Willow. Police worried for Pascal's condition, considering the bitter cold temperatures and Pascal's medicial conditions.

Saturday morning police found Pascal safe and in good health at Advent House Ministries, about a half mile away from his home.

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Lansing Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing man.

Nkurunziza Pascal, 58, was last seen in the 800 block of West Willow in Lansing. He was last seen on Friday around 5 p.m. after wandering away from his home.

He's described as a black man, 5'4" and 160 pounds. Pascal was last seen wearing a long grey jacket, over a dark grey sweater with a gold chain around his neck and jeans.

Officials say Pascal also has medical issues. Police confirm helicopters in the area are connected with the search for him. Officials say the Michigan Aviation Unit will deploy helicopters if there is still time in their log and gas. They say it usually happens for children, elderly and the mentally ill.
