Gov. Building To Open Restaurant And Employ Blind

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)- A government building in downtown Lansing will have a new restaurant coming in the spring.

Cora's Café will be coming to the Anderson House Office building across from the Capitol. The building has been without a cafeteria for more than a year.

MRA President and CEO Brian DeBano says "the new eatery is an innovative way for area job providers to offer and market their products."

The plan is to train people who are legally blind in food services and provide lawmakers with food options for local businesses.
