Bus Driver To Be Sentenced Monday

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)- A Lansing bus driver charged with stealing nearly $10,000 from a parent teacher organization is expected in court Monday, for sentencing.

Prosecutors say Tammy Mcgrath embezzled the money from the Sheridan School PTA over the last year.

Mcgrath served as treasurer between October of 2012 and August 2013, when police say the money was taken .

She pled guilty to "attempt to embezzle" on December 9th.

Mcgrath has been suspended from her duties with the Lansing School District without pay.
