Officials Say House Fire May Be Suspicious

Posted: Updated:

CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) - Fire investigators are looking into the cause of what they're calling a suspicious house fire.

Crews got the call for help around 2 a.m. Monday to a home on the 100 block of West Ash Street in Albion.

It took two fire departments several hours to get the fire under control.

According to public safety officials no one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but is believed to be suspicious in nature.

Neighbors say the flames were so intense some could feel the heat from inside their homes across the street.
