COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS)- A man is behind bars after firing multiple shots in and around his families home and threatening his wife and daughter early Tuesday morning.
It happened shortly after midnight on the 12000 block of Monroe Pike in Brooklyn, Michigan.
Officials say that the 58-year-old man threatened his wife and daughter with a gun while they were packing up their belongings to move out. He fired multiple shots, hitting six windows, a vehicle and another round inside the home.
The man briefly barricaded himself inside his home after his wife and daughter got away and called 911. Officials say after a short period, he was convinced to come out of the home peacefully.
No one was seriously injured during the incident, but officials say the man was taken to Allegiance Health for evaluation.
