Tips To Stay Safe Online

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich.  (WLNS) - An Internet safety seminar Wednesday night helped teach the community how to protect themselves online.

The Michigan CSI Community Seminar gave tips to guests on how to protect their online identity. They say as people get better at identifying scams, hackers are getting better at tricking users.

"When you are using the Internet, you want to make sure that you're not using the same password and username to access several accounts that you have," said Suzy Khoury, a presenter fo the Attorney General's office.
