Man In Hospital After Being Shot By Neighbor

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) - One man is in the hospital and his neighbor is behind bars after a bizarre shooting early Wednesday morning.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Wednesdya in the 100 block of West Wilking Street.

Police say the 27-year old victim was watching TV at his neighbor's home when the neighbor shot at his television. The victim didn't believe the gun was real, so, police say the suspect shot him in the stomach.

The victim was rushed to the hospital, then taken to a hospital in Ann Arbor for surgery.

There is no update at this time on the victim's condition.
