Farm Owner May Face Trial For Horse Cruelty

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) - The case of a 71-year old woman who is once again facing animal cruelty charges could be going to trial.

According to our media partners at WHMI, Velva Wainscott rejected a plea deal related to the death of one of her horses.

Jury selection is scheduled to begin in April.

Earlier this month animal control removed nine other horses from her farm.
