Officials Questioning Possible Suspect In MSU Student Shooting

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Police have arrested one person for violating parole, but now they're questioning him about the shooting death of MSU student Dominique Nolff.

Police have confirmed that 19-year-old Marqua McCoy was taken into custody Tuesday night after an hour-long standoff.

He was originally arrested on an unrelated warrant and is now being questioned regarding the death of 20-year-old Dominique Nolff.

Last month, police say Nolff was shot and killed near the Cedar Village Apartment in East Lansing and since then police released surveillance video to track down Nolff's killer.

On Tuesday police arrested McCoy in Grand Rapids after receiving a tip that he was staying at a relatives house. Police have not released any additional suspects' names at this time.
