February is American Heart Month and to help raise awareness and fitness, Sparrow Hospital is teaming up with Hayes Green-Beach Memorial Hospital to help you "get-in-the-know."

From 1 - 3 p.m. Wednesday, you can stop in to "Alive" in Charlotte, where health experts will be on hand to discuss stress management and healthy eating.

Alive is located at 800 W. Lawrence Ave. in Charlotte.

You can also get free blood pressure and body mass index checks.

The event is free and open to everyone.
