Road Funds May Be Reduced

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - The rising temperatures may feel good to us, but they're bad for our crumbling roadways and now local governments may not get that $100 million from the state to beef up their sagging snow removal budgets.

Senate GOP leader Randy Richardville, (r) says he thinks that figure is too high, which is not good news for local road commissions.

Richardville promises some money, but maybe not the amount the locals want.
