Crime Stoppers: 2 Requests For Information

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help in two requests for information regarding robberies.

The first robbery happened around 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 22, 2013 on the 3200 block of S. Martin Luther King Blvd.

Witnesses stated that two black men came into the store holding handguns. One of the men yelled out directions to the patrons. The other suspect went behind the register, grabbed a cash drawer, and the two accused fled the scene on foot.

The suspects are described as:

1] taller (6'00) black man, wearing a dark hoodie and red bandana over his face. He also had a large, black handgun.

2] smaller (5'6]5'8) black man wearing a dark hoodie and black and white ski mask. He also had a smaller, silver hand gun.

The second robbery happened on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2014 around 10 p.m. on the 2900 block of N. Grand River.

Witnesses stated that they saw the suspect come from the west and open the door. The suspect pointed a handgun directly at the employees and demanded the money. An employee went over to the register and the suspect told him to put the money in a bag. The employee complied and threw it to the suspect.

Witnesses stated the suspect left on foot, headed west.

Suspect Description:

The suspect was described as approximately 18 years old, 5'8" ] 5'10" with a medium build. The suspect was wearing a yellow Michigan hoodie, a black winter hat and a black scarf covering the lower portion of his face and gloves.
