AARP Donates To Elderly In Mid-Michigan

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)- This winter has been a tough one for Michigan, and especially rough for the older population.

That's why the AARP foundation donated $4,500 for utility assistance to elderly in the area.

The money goes to help the Community Action Agency that serves Jackson, Lenawee and Hillsdale counties.

This money is the second donation from AARP to the agency this year. The group already committed $3,500 to the group's 2014 walk for warmth campaign.
