Man Found Not Guilty Of Double Murder

Posted: Updated:

(WLNS) - The main suspect in a double murder trial has been found not guilty.

Thomas Paris, 43, of Highland Park was charged with shooting and killing two men back in July 2009.

He was acquitted of those charges Thursday.

Prosecutors say the case was an up-hill battle because witnesses weren't willing to tell police what they saw or testify in court.
