Posted: Updated:

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (AP) - Two Michigan men are accused of robbing nearly $26,000 from a southwestern Illinois bank worker restocking an automated teller machine.

A federal grand jury has indicted 22-year-old Ramsey Fakhouri and 18-year-old Alexander Gerth on charges of bank robbery. Both men are from Troy, Mich.

Authorities allege that Fakhouri and Gerth carried out the holdup Feb. 14 at the Bradford National Bank in Highland.

The bank employee was not injured.

Online court records don't show whether Fakhouri or Gerth have attorneys.

The felony charge is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
