Second Lansing Teen Arraigned In Anthony Kye Homicide

LANSING, MI (WLNS) - A 19-year-old Lansing man was arraigned Tuesday in connection with the homicide of Anthony Kye.

Officials say 35-year-old Kye was found shot and lying outside in the 600 block of Pine Street in Lansing back in June 2013.

Jamon Niquan Hampton, 19 is charged with: 

CHARGES:
Count 1: Homicide – Open Murder – Statutory short form
Count 2: Assault with Intent to Murder
Count 3: Weapons – Dangerous Weapon – Carrying with Unlawful intent
Count 4: Weapons – Felony Firearm
Habitual Offender – Second Offense Notice

Hampton is scheduled for a pre-exam conference and preliminary hearing in early March.
