MSU Receives More Funding For FRIB Facility

EAST LANSING, MI (WLNS) - MSU received a big boost on Tuesday.

The Michigan strategic fund has approved up to $100 million for the facility for rare isotope beams, also known as FRIB.

The facility will be built on the campus of Michigan State University.

College officials say that in the next 10 years approximately 400 new full-time jobs will be created.

Along with about 5,000 one-year construction jobs.
