Police Asking For Help Identifying PNC Bank Robbery Suspect

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, MI (WLNS) - Just a day after a PNC Bank robbery that kept police busy for hours in the woods, another robbery took place. Now police are asking for the public's help to identify the suspect (see pictures.)

Tuesday's robbery happened around 11 a.m. at the PNC Bank on Mt. Hope in Lansing.

The suspect entered the bank, approached a teller and indicated he had a weapon. He demanded money and once he got the money, he quickly left the bank on foot and ran west.

No bank employees were injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black man, 5'5", about 30 years old. He was wearing a navy blue stocking hat, navy blue puffy jacket with a red Nike on the chest, blue jeans and sun glasses.

Police and a K9 attempted to track the suspect's foot prints in the snow. The track ended nearby and police say the suspect may have gotten into a vehicle.

Police are asking for the public's help to identify the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Brad St. Aubin at (517) 483-6862, Lansing Police at (517) 483-4600 or Crime Stoppers at (517) 483-7867.

Police advise that you should not make contact with the suspect because he may be armed.

It's not the same PNC Bank or the same suspect. Monday's suspect was found dead in the woods.
