Three Men Charged In Connection With Lansing Shooting

LANSING MICH. (WLNS) -

Three men have been charged in connection with the shooting and car chase that happened Friday night on Lansing's south side.

Shelton Darnell Coats, Dionel Deangelo White-Beard and Demetrius Raymont Roberts are all facing felony charges.

Coats is a 22 year-old Lansing man being charged with assault with intent to murder, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of firearms by felon and felony firearm. This is also his second offense of a habitual offender notice. He is on $500,000 cash bond. His preliminary hearing will be on Thursday, April 20th.

White-Beard is a 17 year-old Lansing man being charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder, carrying a concealed weapon, fleeing a police officer and felony firearm. He is on $250,000 cash bond. His preliminary hearing will be on Thursday March 20th.

Roberts is a 25 year-old Lansing man being charged with one count of assaulting resisting and obstructing a police officer. He is out on personal recognizes bond. His preliminary hearing will be on Thursday, March 20th.
