Posted: Updated:

UPDATE (1:14pm) - Hundreds of people remain without power following a snow storm that struck mid-Michigan.

The power is back in Holt, where some 2,000 people lost power in the Lansing suburb.

As of 1:15 p.m., Consumers Energy reported

  • 80 customers without power in Clinton County
  • 21 customers without power in Eaton County
  • 15 customers without power in Shiawassee County

The Lansing Board of Water and Light outage map and DTE outage map show no power outages in the viewing area.

Holt, MI....Consumers is reporting just over 2,000 of their customers in the Holt area of Ingham County are without power.

That brings the total number of customers without power in the county to just over 2,500.

Another 2,500 are out in Calhoun County..100 in Eaton and 30 in Shiawassee.

No specific causes for the outages are given, but Consumers' web site says it could take until 4:30 this afternoon to get all customers back on line.

Lansing's BWL had some scattered outages early today, but all customers had powered restored by just after 8 o'clock this morning.  That outage was blamed on a downed power line.
