Prices jump 30, 40 cents a gallon
LANSING, MI (WLNS) - It's not a secret to drivers that this winter has taken a serious toll on Michigan roads.
Relief could finally be on the way if Governor Rick Snyder signs newly passed legislation like he's expected to.
Lawmakers in the house and senate agreed to set aside an additional $215 million for road maintenance this year.
Some of the funds will be used to help city governments dealing with winter costs, like potholes, salt and plowing.
An additional $100 million will also be allocated for road agencies to use on summer spending, some of which was spent the past few months.
