(WLNS) - The convicted killer who managed to escape from a Michigan prison is expected to appear in an Indiana court Thursday afternoon.
Michael Elliot is scheduled before a judge for an extradition hearing.
Officials say he plans to fight the warrant seeking his return to Michigan.
Elliot escaped from the Ionia Correctional Facility on Feb. 2 and was captured in Indiana the following day.
He's also charged with carjacking, kidnapping and escape in Michigan.
