President Obama is a Spartan.
OK, the Commander in Chief may not bleed green - but he did pick Michigan State to win the NCAA men's basketball tournament this year.
The White House released the president's bracket Wednesday.
After some early round victories, Obama picked MSU to topple the #1 seed Virginia in the Sweet 16, #2 seed Villanova in the Elite 8, and the overall #1 Florida Gators in the Final Four.
He picked them to beat a fellow #4 seed, Louisville, in the national championship game.
"Tom Izzo is a great tournament coach," Obama told ESPN. He fills out brackets for the sports network every year. "I've got Michigan State going all the way...He knows how to motivate folks and he knows how to coach. My pick: Michigan State. Bring it home for me. It's been a while since I've won my pool."
And for while people may not agree on the president's policies, few could argue that he's clueless when it comes to basketball. Besides his lifelong love of the sport, Obama has attended several games during his time in the White House. That includes the Michigan State game he watched on an aircraft carrier (better known as the Carrier Classic) in November of 2011.
Obama also met with basketball coach Tom Izzo when he came to MSU to sign the Farm Bill last month.
Obama picked a number of Big Ten teams to do well. He has Ohio State and Michigan making it to the Sweet 16 and the Wisconsin Badgers making it to the Elite 8.
