K-9 Nabs Suspect After High-Speed Chase

LANSING, MI...WLNS...A Lansing Police K-9 found a man hiding this morning between two houses after an early morning car chase that reached 100 miles per hour according to police.

The chase started in East Lansing shortly after 4 o'clock this morning when police received a report of a driver smashing into cars.

The chase went north out of East Lansing to US 127 and north into Clinton County.

The driver then headed back south toward Lansing and eventually headed west on I-496 to the 14-hundred block of Bailey.  The police dog eventually found the suspect nearby in the 1400 block of Bailey.  The entire chase lasted about 30 minutes.

Once he was taken into custody, the suspect, whose name has not been released, was returned to East Lansing authorities.
