Kids Learn & Play During Lego Palooza

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Combine Legos and learning, and for the 4th year in a row, this weekend Lansing's Impression 5 Science Center held Lego Palooza.

Organizers said, throughout the weekend, close to 2,000 people joined in on the family fun. From building Lego castles to racing Lego cars and creating Lego artwork, kids let their imaginations run wild.

"To have adults and children working together to problem solve, make a maize out of Legos, or do something like that, is very, very awesome and it's a great type of thinking that we love to promote here in our community," said Micaela Balzer, the Director of Innovation & Learning at Impression 5.

"I just went to Lego Palooza and I made a sculpture, over there. I'm going to say this has been one of the best days of my life. Also, I can cross being on TV and going here off my bucket list," said Hailey Glaser, an 8-year-old at Lego Palooza.

If you're looking for more educational fun, Saturday, March 29 Impression 5 celebrates Nano Day.
