Prices jump 30, 40 cents a gallon
LANSING, MI (WLNS)- The race for the soon to be open U.S. Senate seat is beginning, and Monday morning Terri Lynn Land was the first candidate to submit the necessary signatures to be on the ballot.
A republican from West Michigan, Land served two terms as Secretary of State between 2003 and 2010.
U.S. representative Gary Peters is also in the running for the open senate position.
The deadline to file signatures is April 22.
