(WLNS) - Shoppers in the Lansing Mall were treated to a surprise Monday when a group from the Eaton Area Senior Center took to the dance floor with a flash mob.
The dancers put on the spontaneous event to raise money to replace the flooring of the center.
They've already brought in over $15,000 since the beginning of last year.
Seniors and staff members raised that amount through generous donations and the energetic efforts of the seniors themselves.
"They're just an amazing group of seniors...so very active. They put the fun in being a senior and they're determined to raise awareness on their center and it's neat.", said Cindy Miller of the Eaton Area Senior Center.
The seniors' fundraising efforts continue with a concert in August.
