JACKSON, MI (WLNS) - One manufacturer in Jackson had to be evacuated this morning after a note was found in the bathroom saying a bomb would go off sometime Monday.

According to our media partners at MLive, it happened at Michigan Automotive Compressor Incorporated, located off Dearing Rd in Jackson.

The note was found around 10:30 a.m. Monday.

The facility was promptly evacuated and officials from Michigan State Police as well as a K-9 unit were sent in to search the building.

After about four hours officials determined the building was safe and employees were able to return to work.
