Posted: Updated:

(WLNS) -The search is on in Lansing for the man police believe was involved in a shooting last night on the cities north side.

It happened at the One Stop Food Mart on the 1200 block of East Grand River.

Police aren't saying much about this situation.

But 6 News reporter Francesca Amiker spoke to a Lansing police sergeant

and we have a few more details about the man who police believe shot and injured another man just outside the party store last night.

Police tell 6 News that the suspect and victim know each other.

They got into an argument in the parking lot and police say that's when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the man.

Officials say the victim is now at Sparrow hospital and is expected to live.
