JACKSON, MI (WLNS) - A judge in Jackson County says charges will stand for a man who prosecutors say committed a murder 38 years ago.
A lawyer for 65-year-old George Alexander says his client should not face charges in connection to the robbery and shooting death of a Jackson bar owner back in 1975.
According to our media partners at the Jackson Citizen Patriot defense attorneys say a lack of living witnesses and fading memories would give an un-fair advantage to the prosecution.
Jackson County prosecutors say they were able to collect enough evidence to arrest Alexander.
