Two Home Invader Suspects Arraigned

Posted: Updated:
LANSING, MI (WLNS) - Two men have been arraigned after police say they invaded a Lansing home.

It happened around 4:20 a.m. Tuesday at a house in the 3400 block of Braeburn Dr.

Witnesses told police that two men forced open the front door and were taking items from the home and putting them in a vehicle. When officers arrived on scene they found out the suspects had just left, and witnesses provided a description.

Other officers responding to the call found the suspects' vehicle in the area of Coachlight and Miller and attempted a traffic stop. The driver got out of the vehicle and ran away on foot. The passenger was then arrested.
Officers chased the suspect to the 3200 block of W. Miller. The suspect resisted arrest and assaulted one of the officers, but was eventually secured and arrested.
One arrest officer and the driver were treated for minor injuries at a local hospital. The suspects were both taken to the Lansing Police Detention facility and were arraigned Tuesday.
