Blackman Township Turmoil Continues

(WLNS) - The resignation of Blackman Township trustee Paula Clingerman was unanimously accepted at a special meeting last night.

She's now the second trustee to step down from their position following a controversial vote on nearly $100,000 of pay raises.

According to our media partners at the Jackson Citizen Patriot trustee Mark Singer announced that he will not be stepping down even though he and trustee Betty Brockie are facing a recall petition.

The board also voted today to bring on former deputy treasurer Suzanne Fitzpatrick to help train the township's new treasurer.
