State Angling For Trout Information

Posted: Updated:
(WLNS) - If you like to fish state wildlife biologists would like your help to work on some trout regulations.

The state is looking for feedback on the experimental regulations and people who take part will be allowed to catch up to ten brook trout a day during a set fishing season in the Upper Peninsula.

Six rivers in the U.P. are open for the special season.

Anglers can respond to the Department of Natural Resources on how they like the rules and the department will use the comments to shape future regulations.
