(WLNS) - A Michigan State University student was convicted of disorderly conduct Wednesday for his involvement in the disturbances that happened after the Big Ten championship game in December.

The East Lansing police department says 23-year-old Jared Scott Dubay was identified in a photograph taken during the riot.

Dubay was convicted on two counts of disorderly conduct, including assembling to riot and remaining within 300 feet of an open flame.

A sentencing date for the convictions has not yet been set.
