Center Offers FREE Fitness Classes for Kids

LANSING (WLNS) -With food portion sizes getting bigger and recess getting shorter, it's important for kids to stay physically active on a daily basis. One local couple believed this so much they created a class centered around kids physical health.

Whether you are just getting started or you want to push yourself to new limits, local fitness gurus Jennifer Battle and Paul Nagel of The Institution are on a mission to make the world amore fit place.

Founder and owners of The Institution, Jennifer and Paul created the Kids Fit Zone after seeing a lack of physical activity in Lansing schools. The couple is so passionate about providing a place for kids to exercise that their classes are free.

While in class, kids receive a unique fitness formula to get them fit while having fun moving to music.

Kids ages 6-12 and all fitness levels are welcome.

Physical activity is important for your body and your health. Whether you choose mind-body exercise, interval training, weight training, or martial arts, you are doing a good service to your body.

All classes at the Institution are taught by certified instructors to deliver a fun, safe, and effective workout.
