(WLNS) - The results are in for a some area elections including local school millage votes.

Many elections still hang in the balance as final numbers trickle in but here are the results we have so far:

In Ingham County:

Lansing Public Schools operating millage renewal passed overwhelmingly with over 70 percent support-- Yes 4.426 No 1,496

In Williamston residents there were voting to renewal a millage to help pay for playgrounds.

While 2 precincts still have not reported more than 70 percent of voters agreed to renew the millage  Yes 1,048  No 439

However the Leslie community voted against their public school millage proposal. 

With 75 percent of the precincts reporting Yes 395  No 509

Moving to Stockbridge where they are asking for bonds to help improve the community schools.

With 3 of 4 precincts reporting  52 percent voted against the proposal. Yes 653  No 717



In Jackson County:
East Jackson school's proposal passed  Yes 382  No 209

as did the Henrietta Township fire station proposal. Yes 420  No 386

but in Waterloo Township police protection millage failed by 25 votes.

In Eaton County:

In Grand Ledge, though the vote was a close one, Grand Ledge public school voters decided not to increase a bonding proposal

that would continue for the next 25 years. Yes 3066 No 3149

The Maple Valley school's bond proposal passed by 67 votes. Yes 445  No 378
