Michigan House Votes To Ban E-Cigarettes Sales To Minors

Posted: Updated:
LANSING, MI (WLNS) - A ban on selling electronic cigarettes to minors passed in the Michigan house just before 5 p.m. Thursday.

The bills now move to the senate where lawmakers will consider the measures to make it illegal to sell the product to kids under 18 years old. Many stores have their own policies not to sell to minors, however legally they can.

If the bills become law the penalty for selling e-cigs to minors would be the same as selling tobacco to minors.
