Shots Fired Into Lansing House

Posted: Updated:

DEVELOPING - (WLNS) - Lansing police are searching for someone they say fired shots into a home early this morning.

It happened just after 3:30 a.m. on the 700 block of North Washington Avenue.

Police say they found multiple bullet holes in a home where three adults and two children live.

But they are not sure who fired the shots.

Sgt. Todd Johnson of the Lansing Police said, "Right now we don't know if there was a vehicle involved. None of the witnesses saw a vehicle. We have found some shell casings in the street, so we are investigating that."

Officials say this is an on-going investigation.

We'll have updates online and on 6 News as information becomes available.
