Tom Izzo's Beachfront Property Used For Seagull Study

Posted: Updated:
(WLNS) - Tom Izzo can talk about trap defenses and flying to the rim.
Now he can add catching seagulls to that list.
Izzo's beachfront property in west Michigan's Spring Lake was one of three tracts of land used as part of a study aimed at keeping Michigan's shoreline cleaner.

Gulls were captured, outfitted with transmitters and tracked from three west Michigan beach areas in the Grand Haven area.
