UM President In Top Ten In Nation For Pay

(WLNS) - University of Michigan president Mary Sue Coleman is the ninth-highest paid public university leader in the nation.
That's according to data released by the Chronicle of Higher Education.
Coleman was paid $1,037,357 during the 2012-13 academic year.
According to our media partners at MLive, Coleman received a $603,357 base salary, a $200,000 bonus and $234,000 in deferred and retirement pay.
Coleman is retiring at the end of June.
The highest paid public university president is E. Gordon Gee, the former president of Ohio State University.  He earned $6,057,615 in 2012-13.
