Posted: Updated:
BLACKMAN TWP., MI (WLNS) - A Blackman Township couple is recovering from a very scary Tuesday morning.

Around 4:30 a.m. police say the homeowner heard a knock on his front door, located in the 100 block of Willow Street.

When he looked out the window, he noticed a woman standing on his porch.

According to officials when he opened the door, a man ran onto the porch, held a gun to his head, and forced his way in, demanding money.

Police say the suspect then grabbed his wife. When he realized he couldn't get any cash, the suspect forced the couple into the closet, then took off.

A police K-9 attempted a track, but was unsuccessful. Police believe the suspects targeted the wrong house.
