Posted: Updated:
LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Police received a call that shots were fired Wednesday morning, but they did not find anything.

It happened around 11:57 a.m. Wednesday at Walnut and Lapeer. A second call came in shortly after from Saginaw and Seymour.
Police officers responded to the area, but did not find anything.

Around 12:26 p.m. a 20-year-old black man from Lansing walked into Sparrow hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The victim has not said where he was shot, but police do believe the shooting was random and are not ruling out that the wound may be self-inflicted.

Police are still investigating at this time.
