Update On Chippewa Middle School Student Struck By Car

(WLNS) - A Chippewa Middle School student struck by a SUV in Okemos yesterday is expected to be released from Sparrow Hospital today.

The boy has non-life threatening injuries after being struck yesterday just after 3:00 p.m.

Meridian Township police say their investigation is complete and there will be no charges or tickets.

They say the female driver was not speeding and the boy was not in crosswalk area and he apparently did not look before crossing.
