(WLNS) - Federal health officials say an outbreak of salmonella linked to California-based Foster Farms continues to make people sick.
There were 50 new reported illnesses in the last 2 months, most were in California.
That brings the total number of cases up to more than 570 since the outbreak started a year ago.
So far only one case has been reported in Michigan. The chickens were reportedly sold in Costco stores as Kirkland brand rotisserie chickens, soup, leg quarters and chicken salad.More from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention: Foster Farms Brand Chicken
