Pumpstock Music Festival Set For Saturday

(WLNS) - Music lovers listen up! This weekend is the 5th annual Pumpstock American Roots Festival and they're featuring acts from across the state.

Mid-Michigan residents will get to experience nationally recognized musical acts, as the Orchard Street Pump House hosts the annual outdoor concert event.

The popular outdoor acoustics concert is tomorrow and 6 this morning got a sneak preview of one of the acts!

East Lansing's very own Original Indie Pop Rock band, The Spragues, stopped by the studio to play one of their hit singles and wowed viewers from Jackson to Owosso.

6:45 - HARPER AND MIDWEST KIND: Australian Blues Superstar

In addition to the headliners, Pumpstock includes a second stage featuring local musicians Matching Bricks, Jackalope, The Cindy McElroy Trio, and a children's harmonica workshop (at 5pm!) taught by blues hall of fame harmonica player Peter Harper, featuring free harmonicas for the children!

Jugglers, local musicians, a playground, and face painters will entertain the masses between sets.

Local food vendors Detroit Frankie's Brick Oven Pizza, The Sinclair Grill featuring MSU Dairy Store Ice Cream and What Up Dawg will be selling snacks and food for the entire family.

Festivities are from 2pm to 8pm at East Lansing Bailey Park. Rain or shine.
