Jackson County Cracks String Of Thefts

Posted: Updated:

(WLNS) - A series of thefts in Hanover Township have been solved and stolen property returned to its owners.

Sheriff Steven Rand says Deputy Todd Long interviewed people in the area and came up with a list of possible suspects.

More investigation led to the arrest of three suspects, two of which are 17-years old and one 16-years old.

That led to connecting the suspects to 12 larcenies from cars and three garage burglaries.

Electronics, money, golf clubs, power tools, fishing equipment, audio equipment and hand tools were the most common items taken.

95% of the stolen items have been returned to the rightful owners.

Charges against the three are pending.
