Posted: Updated:

(WLNS) - The Jackson Area Narcotics Enforcement Team and Blackman Township police have found what they are calling an active meth lab in a garage.

The lab, and other items used in making meth, was found late last night in a garbage can in the 200 block of Lark Street.

Investigators then tracked two 16-year olds and and a 17-year old were tracked and found about two miles away from the garage.

When officers caught up with the three teens they found suspected finished meth and more items used in making the drug.

The 17-year old was held in the Jackson County jail and the two 16-year olds were turned over to their parents until the Jackson County prosecutor decides on charges.
