Meterless Parking Debate Continues In Jackson

Posted: Updated:

(WLNS) - The city of Jackson wants to hear from you on whether it should continue to use meterless parking in the downtown area.

You can make your comments heard during the Jackson city council meeting tonight.

Right now businesses are asked to pay a flat fee to help the city pay for parking.

This allows people to park in the downtown area without having to pay a few extra dollars.

They hope to make a final decision on whether to continue meterless parking in the city by next month.
